Definitions: In this document the following words and phrases have the meaning set below unless the context indicates otherwise:
Wallet: shall mean the account maintained by the Customer with BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited for which the service is being offered or may be offered in future (each an “Wallet” and collectively “Wallets”);
Customer: shall refer to the person / persons whose details are more particularly set out in the details provided/entered while registering themselves on the mobile application of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited;
Service(s): shall mean the financial services which are provided to the Customer through the mobile application such as information relating to products/services list on the platform, details about transactions and such other services as may be provided on the Mobile Phone Number by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited from time to time
Mobile Phone: shall mean any handset that supports the Software/ Application for availing the services;
Mobile Phone Number: shall mean the number specified by the Customer during Registering themselves with BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited for the purpose of availing the Financial services;
Password/ MPIN : shall mean the combination of numbers or an access code or biometric, which the Customer has chosen, to allow them to use financial services. It is also used for identification for each Customer;
Personal Information: shall mean the information about the Customer obtained in connection with the Services;
Software/Application : means the file which is downloaded on the mobile for accessing Mobile Banking;
Website: refers to the website owned, established and maintained by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited located at the URL www.Betterbottech.ai.
In this document all reference to Customer in masculine gender shall be deemed to include the feminine gender.
Uploading User’s contact list:-
These terms and conditions together with the registration made by the Customer and as accepted by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall form the basis of understanding between the Customer and BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited, and shall be further subject to such terms as BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited may agree with the other service providers In case of conflict or between the general terms and conditions relating to any particular customer and terms and conditions contained herein, terms and conditions contained herein shall prevail.
The Customer shall register to BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited for use of the services by use of any method as provided by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited from time to time in such forms as may be prescribed by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited from time to time for use of the services.
Complete Registration for the services made shall be accepted only after authentication of the Customer through any such mode of verification as may be stipulated in the terms governing usage of these services, or in the absence of any terms, at the discretion of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited.
The Services shall be activated upon Customer fulfilling all the terms and conditions for such activation to the satisfaction of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited.
BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall endeavor to provide to the Customer through the services, such services as BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited may decide from time to time. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited reserves the right to decide what services may be offered to a Customer. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited may also make additions / deletions to the services offered through the Facility at its sole discretion
However, BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited reserves the right to discontinue the service without prior notice and subject to an intimation in the following events:
This service might not be available on all handsets and will depend on the handset configuration & the minimum requirements for running the application.
The Customer is solely responsible for protecting his Mobile Password Identification Number (MPIN) or Mobile Phone Number and any password given by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited for the use of the services.
MPIN will be set up by the Customer as a registration process. As a safety measure, the Customer shall change MPIN as frequently thereafter as possible.
The Customer grants express authority to BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited for carrying out transactions and instructions authenticated by such MPIN.
If the Customer forgets the MPIN, the Customer can reset the MPIN through Mobile application by using the “Forgot MPIN” tab and generate a new MPIN after validating the One Time Password (OTP) sent to their Mobile Phone number. The Customer agrees and acknowledges that BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall in no way be held responsible or liable if the Customer incurs any loss as a result of information being disclosed by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited regarding his personal information by providing the correct Mobile Phone number and Password / MPIN and the Customer shall fully indemnify and hold harmless BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited and the affiliates in respect of the same.
The Customer is further advised to ignore any e-mail asking for his/her user details. The Company or its employees will never contact the Customer asking for online banking Password / MPIN etc.
BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall endeavor to carry out the instructions promptly provided that BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited, shall not be responsible for the delay in carrying out the instructions due to any reason whatsoever including failure of operational system or due to any requirement of law or due to mobile network failure or any failure at the partners’ mobile payments platform.
Authority to BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited
The Customer irrevocably and unconditionally authorizes BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited to access all his wallet for effecting transactions of the Customer through the services performed.
The Customer authorizes BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited to appoint any third party service provider for providing the Services for the purpose of accepting / executing request of the Customers.
All records maintained by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited of the transactions arising out of use of the Services, including the time of the transaction recorded shall be conclusive proof of the genuineness and accuracy of the transactions. The authority to record the transaction details is hereby expressly granted by the Customer to BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited.
All instructions for availing the services shall be provided through the Mobile Phone Number in the manner indicated by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited. The Customer is also responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the instructions provided to BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited and the same shall be considered to be sufficient for availing the services.
Any instruction, order, direction, request entered using the Password/MPIN of the Customer shall be deemed to be an instruction, order, directive, request received from the Customer. All instructions, requests, directives, orders, directions, entered by the Customer, either electronically or otherwise, are based upon the Customer’s decisions or are the sole responsibility of the Customer. The Customer accepts that all information / Instructions will be transmitted to and / or stored at various locations and be accessed by personnel of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited is authorized to provide any information or details relating to the Customer or to third party to facilitate the providing of the service and so far as is necessary to give effect to any instructions.
The Customer undertakes to provide accurate information wherever required and shall be responsible for the correctness of information provided by him to BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited at all times including for the purposes of availing of the Services. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall not be liable for consequences arising out of erroneous information supplied by the Customer. If the Customer suspects that there is an error in the information supplied by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited to him, he shall advise BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited as soon as possible. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited will endeavor to correct the error wherever possible on a best effort basis.
While BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited will take all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the information supplied to the Customer, BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall not be liable for any unintentional error, which results in the providing of inaccurate information. The Customer shall hold BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited harmless against any loss, damages etc. that may incurred / suffered by the Customer if the information supplied to the Customer turns out be inaccurate / incorrect.
BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited reserves the right to refuse any instructions for transfer of funds or limit or block transfers to particular persons. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited reserves the right to set- up transaction level / daily transactions limits and modifies the same from time to time in future.
For security reasons, and in order to comply with regulatory requirements, there are limits on the number and amount of transfers Customers can make using the services through wallet. These limits may be increased/decreased by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited from time to time.
In consideration of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited providing the Services, the Customer shall indemnify and keep safe, harmless and indemnified BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited from and against all actions, claims, demands, proceedings, loss, damages, costs, charges and expenses whatsoever which BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited may at any time incur, sustain, suffer or be put to as a consequence of or arising out in good faith for acting on or omitting or refusing to act on any instructions given by use of the service.
The Customer shall hold BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited, harmless against any loss incurred by the Customer due to failure to provide the services offered or any delay in providing the services due to any failure in the network of the cellular service provider.
The Customer shall indemnify and hold BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited harmless for any losses occurring as a result of the:
As a tool to correct misunderstandings, the Customer understands, agrees and authorizes BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited, at its discretion, and without further prior notice to the Customer, to monitor and record any or all telephone conversations or electronic communications between the Customer and BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited and any of its employees.
The availability/non-availability of a particular service shall be communicated to the Customer through email, web page of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited or in writing as may be deemed fit by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited.
The company shall have right and no obligation for reaching out to registered user through phone calls, automated phone calls, SMS, RCS, Whatsapp and Emails for communication of any new updates and offers from time to time. Company holds rights to contact partners/users through communication channels of BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited.
BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited shall make reasonable efforts to advise from time to time the software such as browsers which are required for availing of the Service. There will be no obligation on BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited to support all or any versions of the software as may be required for offering the Service. The Customer acknowledges that the software underlying the Mobile Application as well as other internet/ mobile related software which are required for accessing application are the legal property of the respective vendors. The permission given by BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited to access Application will not convey any proprietary or ownership rights in such software. The Customer shall not attempt to modify, translate, disassemble, decompile or reverse engineer the software underlying Mobile Application or create any derivative product based on the software.
Documents sent by electronic delivery will contain all the information as it appears in the printed hard copy version as prepared and distributed by the originator, with the possible exception of graphic insertions such as photographs or logotypes. Electronic delivery may be in the form of an electronic mail, an attachment to the electronic mail, or in the form of an available download from the Application. BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited would be deemed to have fulfilled its legal obligation to deliver to the Customer any document if such document is sent via electronic means. Failure to advise BetterBot Tech Services Private Limited of any difficulty in opening a document so delivered within twenty-four (24) hours after delivery shall be deemed to be validly delivered to the Customer.
The Company shall have no obligation to verify the authenticity of any transaction received by the Customer through SMS or any means regarding transactions performed by application. The Bank’s own records of transactions maintained through computer systems or otherwise shall be accepted as conclusive and binding for all purposes unless the Customer points out any discrepancy.

ICICI Bank got an opportunity from government of India to provide loans to citizens of India on subsidy through government’s platform Jan Samarth portal www.jansamarth.in which is public portal for government sponsored loan schemes.
Jan Samarth portal helps the citizens of India availing subsidised loans for Business, Agriculture, Education and Livelihood through 12 difficult schemes including Mudra loan, Padho Pradesh loan schemes, Dr. Ambedkar scheme and others.
BetterBot were given with the objective to create a system in order to create entire loan processing system for India’s 2nd largest private sector bank.
We had designed the technology for ICICI bank to gather customer’s requirement from Jan Samarth Portal by integrating with Government of India’s portal, creating loan underwriting process and system to update customers (applicant’s) & Jan Samarth portal about decisioning of each loan application submitted by citizens of India on government’s platform Jan Samarth.
The project involved creating dashboards for Bank’s key officials to track business from Jan Samarth portal.
The project with ICICI is still going on where numerous updations in processes are taking place even today. We are focusing on automation of their loan underwriting and sourcing process using artificial intelligence in order to create a seamless system for India’s second largest private sector Bank.
We got the requirement from HDFC bank to create their loan management system. Where BetterBot’s team had to integrate with their sourcing partners to fetch customer’s requirement and create a system for bank’s underwriting team to process the cases to come up with decisioning of the case whether the customers will be getting the loan or not.
This involves multiple checks and logics basis the eligibility criteria of bank which we had to take care of very effectively. The technology and platform created for HDFC bank doesn’t only take care of fetching the leads from their different partners and processing them for underwriting but also include responding back to bank’s sourcing partners about decisioning of each cases of bank through multiple API suites.
